Demonstration regarding five point demand
Anganwadi workers are protesting with five-point demands. Their demands are – status of government employee, salary in place of honorarium, retirement pension and if a maid dies while on-duty, then a job should be given to her family member in her place. Last week too, about two thousand maids had demonstrated at Dak Bungalow intersection in Patna.
Anganwadi workers who came out to surround the assembly are accusing the government of breaking its promise. He said that at the time of elections, Tejashwi Yadav had promised to double his honorarium, but after forming the government, he has forgotten his promise. The maids said that now he will not be misled. Will fight for our rights. We will protest continuously to fulfill our demands. We will continue to protest like this until our demands are met.
