Washington. Concerned over China’s attempts to intimidate its neighbors, including India, the US said it would stand by all its allies. The US believes that China’s behavior can be destabilizing in the region related to India and around the world. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s remarks came ahead of the 14th round of talks between India and China aimed at ending the 20-month-long military standoff in eastern Ladakh.
Asked about China’s aggressive behavior along the border with India, Saki said on Monday that the US is constantly monitoring the situation on the India-China border. “We will continue to support dialogue and peaceful resolution of these border disputes,” he said. He added that we are very clear how we view Beijing’s behavior in the region and around the world. Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that we will stand by our allies.
According to sources, talks of ‘Senior Highest Military Commander Level’ between India and China will be held on January 12 at the Chushul-Moldo rendezvous, which will be in the eastern Ladakh part of the Line of Actual Control from the Chinese side. It was told that India is looking forward to a constructive dialogue with China on those fronts in eastern Ladakh, the issue of which remains even after several meetings. It was reported that the main focus of the talks would be on the removal of troops in the Hot Springs area.
