Was burning stubble in the field
Incidents of stubble burning are continuously coming to light in Uttar Pradesh. But in Barabanki district, the limit was reached when a farmer allegedly tried to run a tractor over the accountant who had come to stop him from burning stubble. In this case, the accountant has filed a complaint against the farmer in the local police station. The police is investigating the incident.
A video of this has also surfaced. It is seen in the video that a farmer is driving a tractor in his field. Then a voice comes from behind saying stop-stop. The person making the voice in the video is being claimed to be an accountant.
When the accountant stopped, he abused
The matter is of Katka village of Siraulighauspur in Barabanki district. Gyan Prakash, the accountant of this village, has lodged a complaint against two farmers in Ramnagar police station. Gyan Prakash has alleged that when he stopped farmers Shamser and Sansher from burning stubble, he started abusing them. After this he tried to ram the body with a tractor.
Police registered a case
Lekhpal told the police that the villagers of Katka informed that Shamser and Sunsher were burning stubble in their fields. On receiving information, he reached the spot and stopped both of them from burning the stubble. After this both of them misbehaved with her. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the accountant. The police is investigating the entire matter.
At the same time, the administration has started tightening the noose on those who burn stubble. According to officials, three incidents of stubble burning have been reported in Fatehpur, one each in Nawabganj, Haidergarh and Ramnagar. The district administration has taken fine action against the concerned farmers. SDM Nawabganj Vijay Kumar Trivedi had caught farmer Durgesh of Gaursadikpur village red handed while burning stubble, on whom a fine of Rs 2500 has also been imposed.
