Young man murdered in Kanpur
A surprising case has come to light in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Here a young man was stabbed to death over a minor dispute over slapping. Prashant Mehrotra’s new mother has a shop in the Hatiya Utensil Market of Kanpur by the name of Sharda Pujan Bhandar. Thirty-year-old Umashankar and 19-year-old Ramu work in the shop. There was mutual rift between the two for some days. On Saturday, there was an argument between the two over some issue. On this Umashankar slapped Ramu. Ramu gave this information to his elder brother Sonu. Sonu also worked in another shop a short distance away. He reached the spot with his two companions and interrogated Umashankar. Then suddenly Sonu attacked her with a knife.
There was chaos in the market due to murder
This incident created panic in the market. The shopkeepers present at the spot caught Sonu and his other two companions fled away. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Umashankar was taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment. Doctors told that Umashankar was seriously injured by the knife attack. A lot of blood was also lost.
Police arrested two accused
In this case, ACP Ranjit Kumar said that post-mortem of the dead body will be conducted. Police arrested the main accused Sonu from the spot. Later, one absconding accused was also caught by the police. At the same time, due to this incident, the family members of the deceased are in bad condition and crying. He has demanded the police to take the strictest action.
