    In India, the maximum number of 156 cases of Omicron form have been reported in a day and with this the number of people infected with this new form of corona virus in the country has increased to 578. At the same time, more than 27.99 crore cases of infection have been reported in the world so far and more than 54 lakh people have died so far.

    New Delhi: After 6,531 more people were found infected with the corona virus in the country in the last 24 hours, the number of people infected with this virus has increased to 3,47,93,333, while the number of patients under treatment has fallen to 75,841.

    During this, the death toll has increased to 4,79,997 due to the death of 315 more patients.

    According to the data released by Johns Hopkins University of America, meanwhile, the total cases of corona virus infection in the whole world have increased to 27,99,57,080 and so far 54,00,373 people have lost their lives.

    In India, the maximum number of 156 cases of Omicron form have been reported in a day and with this the number of people infected with this new form of corona virus in the country has increased to 578.

    The Union Health Ministry said in the updated data on Monday that out of 578 people infected with Omicron, 151 have been cured or have gone abroad.

    These cases of Omicron infection have been reported in 19 states and union territories. Delhi has the highest 142, followed by 141 in Maharashtra, 57 in Kerala, 49 in Gujarat, 43 in Rajasthan and 41 in Telangana.

    For the last 60 days, the daily cases of corona virus infection have been consistently staying less than 15,000.

    The ministry said that the number of patients under treatment has come down to 75,841 which is 0.22 percent of the total cases of infection. This rate is the lowest since March 2020. The number of patients under treatment has decreased by 925 in the last 24 hours.

    According to the Ministry of Health, the recovery rate of patients from COVID-19 is 98.40 percent, which is the highest since March 2020.

    The daily rate of infection is 0.87 percent. It has been less than two percent for the last 84 days. The weekly infection rate was recorded at 0.63 percent and has remained less than one percent for the last 43 days.

    The number of people recovering from this disease has increased to 3,42,37,495 while the death rate is 1.38 percent. So far 141.70 crore doses have been given under the nationwide anti-COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

    Out of 315 patients who have lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to this epidemic, 268 people have died in Kerala and 17 people have died in Maharashtra.

    Out of 268 cases of death reported in Kerala, 16 cases were reported in the last few days. At the same time, 252 cases of death have been added to the cases of death from COVID-19 on the basis of the new guidelines of the Center and the Supreme Court.

    According to the data, 4,79,997 people have died due to COVID-19 in the country so far. Of these, 1,41,433 patients have died in Maharashtra, 46,586 patients in Kerala, 38,312 patients in Karnataka, 36,735 patients in Tamil Nadu, 25,105 patients in Delhi, 22,915 patients in Uttar Pradesh and 19,716 patients in West Bengal. .

    The Health Ministry said that out of those who have died due to corona virus infection so far, more than 70 percent of the patients also had other diseases.

    According to the data, there were one lakh cases of COVID-19 in the country in 110 days and in 59 days they had crossed 10 lakhs.

    It took 21 days for the total number of cases of COVID-19 infection in India to reach from 10 lakh to 20 lakh (as on 7 August 2020), while it took 16 more days to reach the number of 20 to 30 lakh (23 August 2020) . However, it has taken only 13 days to reach from 30 lakhs to 40 lakhs (5 September 2020).

    At the same time, after 40 lakhs, it took only 11 days to cross the number of 50 lakhs (16 September 2020). It took 12 days for the number of cases to go from 50 lakh to 60 lakh (as on 28 September 2020). It took 13 days to get 60 to 70 lakhs (11 October 2020). It took 19 days to be 70 to 80 lakhs (on 29 October 2020) and 13 days to be 80 to 90 lakhs (on 20th November 2020). It took 29 days to go from 90 lakh to one crore (on 19 December 2020).

    After this 107 days i.e. on April 5, the cases exceeded 1.25 crore, but it took only 15 days (on 19 April) for the cases of infection to exceed 1.5 crore and then reached the critical condition only after 15 days on May 4. The figure has gone beyond 1.5 crores to two crores. In about 50 days after May 4, on 23 June, the cases of infection had crossed three crores.

    May is the deadliest month ever

    During the second wave of COVID-19 in May alone, more than 92,87,158 cases of corona virus were reported in India, which is the highest number of infections recorded in a month.

    Apart from this, 1,20,833 people also lost their lives due to this disease this month. In this way, this month was the worst and deadliest month during this epidemic.

    On May 7, the maximum number of 4,14,188 cases of COVID-19 were reported in 24 hours and on May 19, the maximum number of 4,529 patients lost their lives.

    Daily new cases were below three lakh from May 17 to May 24 and then below two lakh from May 25 to May 31. The maximum number of 3,745,237 patients were treated in the country on May 10.

    During the last one day or 24 hours in the month of November, 13,091 cases of infection were highest on November 11 and after re-matching the figures in Kerala, the maximum number of 621 people died on November 28.

    During the last one day or 24 hours in the month of October, the maximum number of 26,727 new cases of infection were on October 1 and after re-matching the figures in Kerala, 805 people died on October 29.

    During the last one day or 24 hours in the month of September, 47,092 cases of infection were reported on September 2, while the maximum number of 509 people died on September 2.

    During the last 24 hours in the month of August, the maximum number of 46,759 cases of infection were registered on 28 August and the maximum 648 deaths were recorded on 25 August during this period.

    During the last 24 hours in the month of July, the maximum 48,786 cases of infection were reported on July 1 and the highest number of 3,998 cases of death in a day (after Maharashtra revised the figures) were registered on July 21.

    During the last 24 hours in the month of June, 1,34,154 cases of infection were reported on June 3 and the maximum number of 6,148 deaths (after Bihar revised the figures) were reported on June 10.

    During the last 24 hours in the month of April, maximum 3,86,452 new cases were registered on 30th, while the maximum number of 3,645 people died on 29th.

    The highest number of 68,020 cases were reported during 24 hours in March, on March 29 and the highest number of people who lost their lives due to the epidemic was recorded on March 31. 354 people died on this day, which is the highest figure for the first quarter of 2021 (January to March).

    In the month of February, maximum 16,738 cases of infection were reported in 24 hours on February 25 and this month the maximum number of deaths of 138 people were also recorded on this date.

    In January, the maximum number of 20,346 cases of infection were registered during 24 hours on January 7. At the same time, the maximum number of 264 people died in this period on 6 January.

    On September 6 last year, new cases of infection crossed 90 thousand (90,632) for the first time. On August 28, for the first time they crossed 70 thousand (75,760), on August 7 they crossed 60 thousand (62,538) for the first time, on July 30 they crossed 50 thousand for the first time.

    Similarly, on July 20 last year, it crossed 40 thousand for the first time, on July 16 it crossed 30 thousand for the first time, on July 10 it crossed 25 thousand (26,506) for the first time, on July 3 it crossed 20 thousand for the first time, on June 21. For the first time, the number of new cases crossed 15 thousand and on June 20, the number of new cases crossed 14 thousand for the first time.
