One has been arrested from Diamond Harbor in South 24 Parganas, while the other has been arrested from Nirmal Nagar in Mumbai. According to the information received from the Bengal STF, recently, after repentance from the Al Qaeda terrorists arrested from the governance area of North 24 Parganas, their information was received. After that STF has arrested Sameer Hussain from Diamond Harbor and Saddam Hussein from Mumbai.
The STF produced the arrested Seemar Hussain in Diamond Harbor Court on Saturday and pleaded for custody, while the Al Qaeda terrorist arrested from Mumbai is being brought to Kolkata on transit remand.
Case registered in many sections of IPC including UAPA
According to information received from Bengal SST, radical literature waging war against India has also been seized from the terrorists. Cases have been registered against these two alleged terror accused under various provisions of UAPA and Indian Penal Code. The Bengal STF will request the court for their custody and after that they will be interrogated by taking them into custody. According to the information received, these terrorists were indulging in anti-India activities through social media and internet and were spreading poison in the name of jihad.
STF got clues from terrorists arrested from North 24 Parganas
Let us inform that a few days ago, the STF had arrested two suspected terrorists from the Kharibari area of the rule of North 24 Parganas. He is currently in the custody of STF. These arrests have taken place only after interrogating him. The arrested terrorists were identified as Abdur Rakib Sarkar, a resident of Gangarampur in South Dinajpur and Qazi Ahsanullah, a resident of Arambagh in Hooghly district. After that, the Bengal STF had interrogated them and raided the areas of North Bengal, but at that time two terrorists had managed to escape. Now again STF has caught two. Central agencies are constantly keeping a close watch on Bangladesh and its adjoining districts.
