New Delhi16,906 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in India in the last one day, after which the total cases of infection increased to 4,36,69,850. This information was revealed in the updated data of the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday.
According to the latest figures at 8 am, 45 more people died due to the COVID-19 epidemic, after which the death toll increased to 5,25,519.
According to the data of Johns Hopkins University of America, the total cases of corona virus infection have increased to 55,78,21,468 all over the world and 63,55,999 people have died due to this infection so far.
The Union Health Ministry said that the number of patients under treatment for COVID in the country has increased to 1,32,457. The number of patients under treatment is 0.30 percent of the total cases of infection, while the rate of patients recovering after suffering from COVID is 98.49 percent at the national level. An increase of 1,414 has been recorded in the number of patients under treatment in the last 24 hours.
The ministry said that the daily rate of infection is 3.68 percent and the weekly rate is 4.26 percent. The number of patients recovering from the epidemic has increased to 4,30,11,874 while the death rate has been recorded at 1.20 percent. ,
According to the ministry, more than 199.12 crore doses of anti-Covid vaccine have been given in the country so far.
Out of 45 deaths due to COVID in the last one day, 17 occurred in Kerala, 13 in Maharashtra, five in West Bengal, two each in Gujarat and Bihar, while one patient each from Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Odisha, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh died.
So far 5,25,519 patients have died due to the epidemic in the country. Of these, 1,47,991 patients have died from Maharashtra, 70,170 from Kerala, 40,125 from Karnataka, 38,028 from Tamil Nadu, 26,285 from Delhi, 23,548 from Uttar Pradesh and 21,251 from West Bengal.
The Health Ministry said that out of those who have died due to corona virus infection so far, more than 70 percent of the patients also had other serious diseases.
According to the data, there were one lakh cases of COVID-19 in the country in 110 days and in 59 days they had crossed 10 lakhs.
It took 21 days for the total number of cases of COVID-19 infection in India to reach 10 lakh to 20 lakh (as on 7 August 2020), while it took 16 more days to reach 20 to 30 lakh (23 August 2020) . However, it has taken only 13 days to reach from 30 lakhs to 40 lakhs (5 September 2020).
At the same time, after 40 lakhs, it took only 11 days to cross the number of 50 lakhs (16 September 2020). It took 12 days for the number of cases to go from 50 lakh to 60 lakh (as on 28 September 2020). It took 13 days to get 60 to 70 lakhs (11 October 2020). It took 19 days to be 70 to 80 lakhs (on 29 October 2020) and 13 days to be 80 to 90 lakhs (on 20th November 2020). It took 29 days to go from 90 lakh to one crore (on 19 December 2020).
After this 107 days i.e. on April 5, 2021, the cases exceeded 1.25 crore, but it took only 15 days (19 April 2021) for the cases of infection to exceed 1.5 crore and then only 15 days later on May 4, 2021, the critical situation. The figure went beyond 1.5 crores to two crores while reaching in.
After 4 May 2021, in about 50 days, on 23 June 2021, the cases of infection had crossed 30 million. After this, about nine months later, on 26 January 2022, the total number of cases had crossed 40 million.
Virus cases and deaths
Talking about this month, 13,615 on 12 July, 16,678 on 11 July, 18,257 on 10 July, 18,840 on 9 July, 18,815 on 8 July, 18,930 on 7 July, 6 July in a day or 24 hours. 16,159 on July 5, 13,086 on July 5, 16,135 on July 4, 16,103 on July 3, 17,092 on July 2 and 17,070 on July 1.
In this period, 20 on 12 July, 26 on 11 July, 42 on 10 July, 43 on 9 July, 38 on 8 July, 35 on 7 July, 28 on 6 July, 19 on 5 July, 24 on 4 July, three On July 31, on July 2, 29 and on July 1, 23 people died.
Talking about COVID-19 infection in June, the maximum number of 17,336 new cases were registered in a single day or 24 hours on June 24. And during this maximum 38 people died on 23 June.
In the month of May, the maximum number of 3,805 new cases of corona virus infection were registered in a day or 24 hours on May 7 and during this time the maximum 65 deaths were recorded on May 22.
In the month of April, the maximum 3,688 new cases of corona virus infection were registered in a day or 24 hours on 30 April and during this time the maximum 1,399 (after revision of figures in Assam and Kerala) were recorded on 26 April.
In the month of March, the maximum number of 7,554 new cases of COVID-19 infection in a day or 24 hours came on March 2 and during this time the highest number of deaths of 4,100 (with revision in the figures of Maharashtra and Kerala) were recorded on 26 March.
In the month of February, the maximum number of 1,72,433 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in a day or 24 hours on February 3 and the maximum number of 1,733 people died in this period on February 2.
Talking about the month of January this year, during the last one day or 24 hours, the maximum number of 3,89,03,731 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered on 22 January and the maximum 959 deaths occurred on 30 January during this period.
May 2021 has been the deadliest month
During the second wave of COVID-19 in May 2021 alone, more than 92,87,158 cases of corona virus were reported in India, which is the highest number of infections recorded in a month.
Apart from this, in May 2021, 1,20,833 people also lost their lives due to this disease. So many cases and such number of deaths have not been recorded in any other month. In this way, this month was the worst and deadliest month during this epidemic.
On 7 May 2021, the highest number of 4,14,188 cases of COVID-19 were reported in 24 hours and on 19 May 2021, the maximum number of 4,529 patients lost their lives.
Daily new cases were below three lakh from May 17 to May 24, 2021 and then below two lakh from May 25 to May 31, 2021. The maximum number of 3,745,237 patients were treated in the country on 10 May 2021.
