Ingredients for making Sama Ka Rice Pulao
1 cup sama rice
1 tsp cumin
tsp grated ginger
rock salt
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
water as required
1 potato
5 to 10 cashews
3 green chilies
2 tsp lemon juice
5 curry leaves
1 tbsp ghee
Sama’s Rice Casserole Recipe
step 1
Soak the sama rice for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cut a potato. Now finely chop green chili and green coriander.
Step – 2
Now keep a fry pan on the gas. Add ghee to it. Heat it on medium heat. Add cumin seeds to it. Fry it till it crackles. Add ginger, green chili, cashew nuts and peanuts to it. Fry the cashew nuts till they turn light brown.
Step – 3
Now add chopped potatoes to it. Mix everything. Let the potatoes cook in it for some time. Add sama rice and rock salt to it. Cook them for some time.
Step – 4
Now add 2 cups of water to it. Let it cook for 10 minutes. After that check that it is cooked.
Step – 5
Now add coriander leaves and lemon juice to it. Let it cook for some more time. After that turn off the gas. After this serve this pulao hot.
