The number of students going abroad for higher education is continuously increasing. According to the information given by Union Minister Subhash Sarkar in the Lok Sabha, there has been an increase of 68% in the number of people going abroad for studies in 2022 as compared to 2021. According to statistics, in 2021, 4,44,553 students went abroad for studies, while in 2022 this figure increased to 750,365. Earlier in 2017, 4,54,009 students, in 2018 517,998, in 2019 586,337 students went abroad for studies. In 2020, there was a decline in the number of students going out due to Corona, but in that year also about 259,655 students went abroad for studies.
