A serial bomb blast took place today, October 29, at a convention center in Kalamassery, Ernakulam, Kerala. One person died in the accident, while 35 people were injured. The explosion occurred during a prayer meeting at the centre. An alert has been issued in many states regarding this. A total of 5 explosions took place one after the other in the centre. Initial investigation by NIA revealed that an incendiary device was used in this blast. Let us know what this device is and how dangerous it is.
The NIA team is investigating the entire incident. The injured are being treated in the hospital. According to the local administration, the condition of many of the injured is serious. A three-day conference of Christians was going on in the centre. Hundreds of people were present in the center when the explosion occurred.
