The Modi government of the country is preparing to run Vande Bharat sleeper train on long distance routes for the purpose of providing better facilities to the passengers. The first batch of Vande Bharat sleeper trains will start next year. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told that ‘The Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai is preparing the design for the sleeper variant Vande Bharat trains by the end of December. The first few trains will be ready by March 2024.
Last month, the Union Railway Minister said that three versions of Vande Bharat trains namely Vande Chair Car, Vande Metro and Vande Sleepers will be available for passenger services by February-March next year. Vande Bharat has three formats. Vande Metro for less than 100 kms, Vande Chair Car for 100-550 kms and Vande Sleeper for travel beyond 550 kms. All these three formats will be ready by February-March (next year).
Madhya Pradesh will get two Vande Bharat trains on 27th
MP to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that on June 27, the Prime Minister will flag off Vande Bharat trains from Bhopal to Bhopal-Indore and Bhopal-Jabalpur. Earlier on April 1, Prime Minister Modi had flagged off the Bhopal-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train at Rani Kamlapati railway station. The train covers a distance of 708 kilometer in 7.45 hours.
5 Vande Bharat trains will start
Indian Railways is ready to start five new Vande Bharat Express trains simultaneously. The launch event will take place on June 26. The new routes of Vande Bharat Express trains will include Mumbai-Goa, Bengaluru-Hubli-Dharwad, Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore and Bhopal-Jabalpur. Passengers will get better facility
Vande Bharat 3.0 train equipped with sleeper class coaches will have Wi-Fi facility. Also, it will have an LED screen to keep the passengers updated. To make the journey safe, smooth and comfortable, this train will have other facilities including automatic fire sensor, GPS system. Ecofriendly trains will bring changes in the daily life of every Indian.
