If you travel by train, then there is great news for you, because now your journey will become even easier. Passengers traveling by train will be able to cover a distance of 314 km in four hours 45 minutes through the new Vande Bharat Express train. With the aim of providing better facilities to the passengers, Indian Railways is going to start new Vande Bharat Express train on 25 May 2023 for the state of Uttarakhand.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this new train. PM Modi will flag off tomorrow on Thursday. This will be the sixth semi-high speed train to be launched in this financial year 2023-24 and will be the 17th train in the country. With this, passengers will not take much time to reach their destination.
The new Vande Bharat Express will connect Dehradun to Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal). This is also going to be the fifth blue and white colored train for the national capital. This new-age train will cover a distance of 314 km in four hours and 45 minutes. Currently the fastest train between the two cities is New Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express. It takes 6 hours 10 minutes to cover the same distance. The new blue and white colored train will run six days a week except Wednesday.

Train will stop at these 5 stations
This Vande Bharat train will leave Dehradun at 7 am and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 11.45 am. In return, this train will leave Anand Vihar at 5.50 pm and reach Dehradun at 10.35 pm. The new Vande Bharat Express will stop at five railway stations during its journey between Delhi and Dehradun. Which are as follows – Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut City. Vande Bharat running between Delhi-Dehradun is made up of eight coaches, in this train passengers will be provided with the facility of AC chair car and executive chair car.
Vande Bharat started in the financial year 2023-24
The national transporter has accelerated the construction of blue and white colored trains in the country. In the current financial year, Indian Railways has started six Vande Bharat Express trains on the following routes. Rani Kamalapati-Hazrat Nizamuddin, Secunderabad-Tirupati, Chennai-Coimbatore, Ajmer-Delhi Cantt, Thiruvananthapuram Central-Kasaragod and Howrah-Puri rail routes.
