In order to make the journey of passengers better, Indian Railways has reduced the time of the country’s 13th Vande Bharat Express train by 15 minutes. Now the semi-high-speed train running between Secunderabad and Tirupati will complete its journey in 8 hours 15 minutes. Earlier the train had to cover this distance in 8 hours 30 minutes. The new timing will be effective from Wednesday, 17 May 2023. Apart from this, the Ministry of Railways has doubled the passenger capacity of the train by adding 8 more coaches to Vande Bharat Express. The blue and white colored train has gained immense popularity among the passengers.
South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Arun Kumar Jain said that the reduction in travel time along with additional facilities for comfortable journey will improve the overall passenger experience. In view of the increasing demand for seats in the Vande Bharat Express train on the Secunderabad-Tirupati-Secunderabad route, it was decided to double the number of coaches to 16.
If you travel by Vande Bharat Express train on this route then you will easily get a seat. The Secunderabad-Tirupati-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express route is as follows, In its journey, Vande Bharat Express halts at four railway stations between Secunderabad and Tirupati and vice versa, ie Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore during its journey.

Indian Railways had replaced the Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express train with Tejas Express. Moreover, the Vande Bharat Express running on this route was also facing the least occupancy as compared to other Vande Bharat Express trains. That’s why the ministry has reduced the number of coaches to 8.
