Atwal was murdered on the steps of the Golden Temple when he was going to sit in his car after offering prayers. By that time Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala had made the Golden Temple his base. When an unknown assailant fired indiscriminately at DIG Atwal, he was only a few steps away from his official car and bodyguard. It is also said that at that time policemen were also stationed there who ran away instead of catching the terrorist.
2- Bullets were fired indiscriminately on Indira Gandhi
Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her own two Sikh security personnel, Satwant Singh and Beant Singh. When she was murdered on October 31, 1984, she was at her residence on Safdarganj Road and was on her way to give an interview. It is said that he inquired about Beant Singh’s well-being forever, at the same time Beant pointed the gun, until anyone could understand anything, Satwant Singh started firing with his sten gun.
It is said that Satwant Singh fired 25 bullets at Indira Gandhi, even after she fell on the ground, he continued to fire. Beant fired 3 bullets on Indira Gandhi’s stomach with revolver. At that time Indira Gandhi was taken to AIIMS in her official car. Beant Singh died on the spot due to bullet injuries. Satwant was arrested. After this, for several weeks the country was engulfed in anti-Sikh riots in which hundreds of innocent people were sacrificed.
3- The plane was bombed at an altitude of 31 thousand feet

As soon as it entered the border of Europe, there was a huge explosion in the flight at an altitude of 31 thousand feet. 22 crew members and 307 passengers aboard the plane were killed. Sikh terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa was considered guilty of this attack. The maximum number of 268 passengers in the attack were from Canada, besides 10 Americans, 27 from England and 2 Indian citizens were also aboard the plane.
4- When 38 Hindus were thrown off the bus and killed
