Scientist Yaping Jin says that the tissue of super cows will be saved and preserved, so that more and more super cows can be born.
How many liters of milk can a cow give in a day? 2-4 Ltrs, 10-20 Ltrs? But if we tell you that a cow can give 100 to 150 liters of milk in a day, would you believe it? The thing is shocking, but true. Chinese scientists claim that they have created a ‘super cow’ through cloning. Scientists have prepared 3 such cows, which will give 25 to 35 times more milk than a normal cow.

According to the report of The Sun, Chinese scientists say that cows prepared through cloning can give up to 17500 liters of milk in a year. This is more than double the number of cows found in Britain. The best breed of cow in Britain can give up to 8 thousand liters of milk in a year. At the same time, even in comparison to India, this super cow is going to give a lot of milk.

Scientists of China’s Northwest University of Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology have cloned 3 super cows. Scientists say that they will prepare 1000 clones of Super Cow. Due to this there will be a lot of increase in milk production. The Chinese media has described this breeding program of cows as reducing the import of milk. As much milk is consumed in China, it has to import a lot of milk from outside countries.

The question is how this clone was prepared. On this question, scientist Jin Yaping, who is leading the cow cloning project, told that embryos were prepared by taking tissue from the ears of cows and then those embryos were transplanted into 120 cows.

Yaping said that 42 percent of the cows that were given embryo transplants became pregnant. At present, three super cows have been born, while 17.5 percent cows are likely to be born in the next few days.

Actually, China is dreaming of forming a group of 1000 such super cows through this project. Due to the highest milk yielding cows in the world, the production of milk in China will increase significantly and this will not only fulfill China’s domestic needs, milk can also be exported in future.

Scientist Jin said that such cloning technique will not have any economic benefit until it is linked to business. For this, there will be a need to increase cloning. In China, the number of super cows is being increased by implanting hybrid embryos in the womb of low yielding cows. If such cows increase, the production of milk will also increase a lot.

Jin says that the tissue of super cows will be saved and kept safe, so that more and more super cows can be born. According to the report, there are currently 6.6 million cows in China, out of which 70 percent of the cows have been imported from abroad. If China prepares one thousand super cows, then it will be able to increase the production of milk by 1800 tonnes every year.
