- In 2014, this rule was changed again. Under the new change, it was said that if there is no leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, the leader of the country’s largest opposition party will be included in this committee. - Praveen Sood is currently the DGP in Karnataka Police. Praveen Sood, who graduated from IIT Delhi, became a part of the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1986. In 1989, he started his career as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Mysore. He was the Superintendent of Police of Bellary and Raichur. After this he was appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Bangalore.
