DRDO scientists have worked on the design of two such bombs. After designing them, the responsibility of preparing them was given to Adani’s company. Both the bombs were prepared. They will be glided through the wing. In this way the first bomb to attack through glide has been prepared.
two bombs ready
Adani Defense and Aerospace has prepared two such bombs. The first is Gaurav and the second name is Gautham. Both the bombs are powerful in their own right. Both bombs can be used when targeting targets outside the range of the aircraft. Both have different capabilities and features.
Now know the merits of both
- How much does the bomb weigh? The Gaurav bomb, weighing 1,000 kg, is a long-range glide bomb, while the Gautham weighs 550 kg and is a wingless bomb. The length of both the bombs is 4 meters.
- Up to what range will it kill: Gaurav Bomb can glide up to a range of 100 km. At the same time, the Gotham bomb has the ability to glide up to 30 kilometers without a wing.
- How to control: Powerful navigation system has been installed in both the bombs. They are controlled with the help of GPS and Navic Satellite Guidance System and the target can be penetrated.
- With which aircraft will be used: These bombs can be used with Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jets. In the trial held in Balasore last year, Gaurav Bomb was also tested from Sukhoi Jet. It can go floating in the air and destroy the hideouts of the enemies.
- Bomb will prove to be so helpful: Both the bombs will work to increase the strength of the Indian Air Force. This bomb will be able to target those enemy targets which are outside the range of anti-aircraft defense. In this way the risk of collateral damage will be reduced.
