2000 notes being abolished after RBI’s order, spending on Zomato’s bill
Ever since the RBI has stopped the circulation of Rs 2000 note. There is chaos everywhere. The situation is that now 2000 notes have started coming out of people’s homes. Somewhere in small shops and somewhere people are spending notes on online delivery. Recently, online food delivery app Zomato has also revealed about the 2000 note.
Zomato told that since the news of circulation of notes has come. Since then the demand for online food has increased. Online food that too on COD i.e. cash on delivery mode. People are ordering food online and paying for it with Rs 2000 notes.

72% payment from 2000 note
Zomato told on Monday that the demand for their online food delivery has increased as soon as the circulation is closed. About 72% of the orders were paid in 2000 notes. Actually, customers are ordering food through cash on delivery payment mode. When the food is delivered, the customers pay with 2000 notes. About 72 percent of such cases have come before him.
RBI imposed ban on circulation
Let us tell you, on Friday, the Reserve Bank of India has banned pink notes of 2000 rupees. Means the circulation / printing of these notes has been stopped. However, they are still legal tender. Meaning people can use them to buy goods. At the same time, people can exchange their notes by visiting banks from May 23. This process of note exchange will continue till 30 September.
Investment in gold and silver also increased
People are adopting different tricks to spend 2000 notes kept in their homes. Some are ordering goods online and some are increasing investment in gold.
