If people are careless during festivals and do not follow the rules of prevention from COVID, then there may be a jump in the cases of COVID in the next month. Although it is expected that cases will not increase to dangerous level now, but due to negligence, new cases can increase again.
Dr Garg says that COVID is a global disease. Its cases are still coming continuously in many countries of the world. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the virus can mutate at any time and change into a new variant. If the new variant becomes dangerous and spread rapidly, then it may increase the cases of COVID again.
Dr Garg has advised people not to think that now COVID is over forever. The doctor says that this virus is going to remain among us for a few years now. In such a situation, it is also necessary to protect it. Because if the case escalates again then there can be trouble.
High risk people must have booster dose
Dr Sunila said that the number of people taking the booster dose of COVID in the country is less. But people in the high risk group should take a booster dose. In people who already have a serious disease, infection of COVID can be dangerous. Therefore, the elderly and people suffering from other serious diseases should take the third dose.
