hpv vaccine
This vaccine protects against cervical cancer. All girls should be given the HPV vaccine at age 11 or 12. This vaccine is given in two or three doses according to age.
TDAP
(Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) Vaccine: This vaccine protects against three dangerous diseases namely Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis. A dose of this vaccine is given at the age of 11 or 12 and after that a booster dose has to be given at the age of 16.
meningococcal
Meningococcal vaccine protects against many types of bacterial infections. According to the CDC, all adolescent girls should be given this vaccine at age 11 or 12 and then a booster dose at age 16.
flu vaccine
Nowadays the outbreak of flu is increasing a lot. Seasonal flu vaccine can be given at the age of 6 months or after that. It has to be given every year. It protects against flu. By applying this vaccine, flu infection is prevented.
