Cancer treatment by radiotherapy
Cancer Treatment: to a woman from Delhi cancer Was. But the woman’s condition was not fit for surgery. In such a situation, the doctors decided to treat this patient with cryoablation technique. This process was done by the doctors of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. Through this, cancer cells were destroyed with cold gases. In this process, extremely cold gas like nitrogen was used to kill cancer cells.
This procedure was done by Dr. Arun Gupta, Dr. of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi. Raghav and Dr. Ajit Yadav. According to Dr. Ajit Yadav of the Interventional Radiology Department, cancer cells are destroyed by cold gases in cryoablation. It works on the concept of ‘freeze-thaw-freeze’. Tissues also melt in this process. Generally this technique is used for the treatment of lungs, kidney and liver. It takes about 2 hours. This is a less risky procedure than surgery.
Technology used for the first time in North India
According to Dr. Arun Gupta, Chairperson of the Department of Interventional Radiology at Sir Gangaram Hospital, for the first time in North India, a patient’s cancer has been treated through cryoablation. This was done because the patient’s cancerous tumor was very large and was near the liver. It has been completely eradicated by cryoablation.
Since the patient was not fit to undergo surgery, cancer cells were destroyed using cold gases. It has very few side effects and the recovery of the patient is also fast. Also, there is less damage to the tissue. Now the patient’s condition has become much better than before. Recovery is getting much better after treatment in the hospital.
