Bhopal. There has been a tremendous jump once again in the cases of corona in Madhya Pradesh. A total of 2317 new cases of corona have come out here in the last 24 hours on Sunday, after which the number of COVID patients in the state has increased to 8606.
Close to 1600 cases in 4 big cities of the state
In 4 big cities of the state, the number of corona patients has reached close to 1600 in 24 hours. Here Indore has become the hotspot of Corona. Here on Sunday, 645 patients have been found infected with corona.
At the same time, the most worrying situation is of the capital Bhopal, where 489 infected have been found, including 27 children. Apart from this, 294 cases have been reported in Gwalior, while 190 positive cases have been seen in Jabalpur, after which the number of active cases in the entire state has crossed 8 thousand.
CM Shivraj will take review meeting
In view of the infection of corona in the state, the state government has come on alert mode. On Monday, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will take a review meeting of Corona of each district at 3 pm, in which there will be a brainstorming on the steps taken by the Crisis Committee to reduce the corona infection.
Ministers and Collectors, SPs, Commissioners, IGs, officers in charge of all districts will be present in this meeting. In this review meeting to be held in the afternoon, from corona to hailstorm, rain will also be the subject of discussion.
Children will get booster dose
After vaccination of children in Madhya Pradesh, now booster dose has been started. The third dose of vaccination will be given to 60 years old people including health workers, front line workers. At the same time, Health Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary took stock of the vaccination center built at Katju Hospital. He said that ‘from Monday, health workers, frontline workers and elderly people aged 60 years and above with co-morbid conditions have started taking precaution doses’.
On the other hand, on the vaccination of children, he said that ‘a continuous campaign is being run, the children will be vaccinated at the earliest. There are 71 lakh 62 thousand 15 people of 60 plus in MP, out of which 4 lakh 94 thousand health workers have been identified and front line workers are also about 5 lakh 70 thousand 427.
