Waking up late at night can reduce your age
Sleeping problems: In this era of social media, it has become a habit of people to stay awake till late night. Often people keep on using the phone throughout the night. Many people watch movies on OTT. Because of this, they are not able to sleep on time at night. But doing so can take a toll on your health. It has been said in a study that the habit of staying awake till late night takes a person closer to death. Sleep Failure to complete it has serious effects on the body. Due to this there is a risk of getting many diseases. These diseases cause death in old age.
This study has been done at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health in Finland. This study has been published in ‘Chronobiology International’. It has been told that many diseases develop in the body due to staying awake till late night. Due to this, there is a risk of death at an early age. In this study, research was done on 23,000 people.
Study done for 22 years
This study was conducted from 1980 to 2022. Of these, about 9 thousand people had died. All those people who died prematurely used to stay awake till late in the night. On the other hand, those who got up early in the morning and slept on time at night had 10 percent less risk of death. People who used to wake up in the night, consumed alcohol or smoked, they had the highest risk of death at a young age.
Risk of these diseases on waking up at night
Christer Hublin, the author of this study at the Finnish Institute, says that people who wake up late at night have heart disease, high BP. The risk of diseases like diabetes increases. People who stay awake till late night become victims of these diseases at an early age. Later these diseases become the cause of death. In such a situation, people should take care of their sleeping time. Try to wake up early in the morning and sleep till 10 in the night. Take at least eight hours of sleep.
