In view of the rise of Corona in Delhi, an important meeting of DDMA is going to be held today. It is believed that some tough decisions can be taken in this meeting to prevent corona infection. However, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that there will be no lockdown in Delhi. Yellow alert and weekend curfew continues in the capital.

Earlier on Sunday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that there will be no COVID lockdown in Delhi but people will have to follow the protocol. Wear a face mask in public places and maintain social distance, he said. On Saturday, 20,181 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Delhi and the infection rate was 19.6%.

According to the latest data released by the Delhi Health Department, 22,751 new cases have been reported here in the last 24 hours and 17 people lost their lives during this period. Which is 12 percent more than yesterday’s number (20,181). During this, the infection rate in Delhi has reached 23.53 percent. At the same time, since June 16 last year, the maximum number of COVID deaths have occurred in a single day. On Friday, Delhi had registered 17,335 new Covid cases, while on Thursday the city had 15,097 cases.
