Question: Have cancer cases increased in the last 10 years?
Answer: Now many types of better and new techniques have come to check cancer. Due to which the disease is being identified easily as compared to before. More patients are being diagnosed than this. Earlier there was no better testing technology, so many cancer cases used to be treated like other diseases, but now this situation is improving a lot. Many data based on cancer show that the cases of some cancers are increasing in the last few years. While some are also getting less.
For example, cases of breast cancer are increasing in women. The major reasons for this are poor lifestyle, late marriage, not breastfeeding the child and bad eating habits.
On the other hand, cases of cervical cancer (cancer of the mouth of the uterus) in women are now coming less than before. The reason for this is that women are becoming aware of this cancer. Getting tests done at the right time. Personal hygiene is getting better. Women are getting regular checkups done. HPV vaccine is also available to prevent this cancer. Due to which the cases of cervical cancer are decreasing now.
Question: biopsy people to check for cancer Why is there a delay in getting the test done?
Answer: People hesitate about cancer. In some cases, other methods are adopted for treatment. Avoid going to the doctor and get treated in other ways. In many cases, it is also seen that the patient has lung cancer, but the treatment of TB continues. The reason for this is that the symptoms of TB are visible in the CT scan of the patient. In such a situation, the doctors start its treatment. That’s why it should be seen that if the patient is not getting relief in the treatment of TB, then contact should be made in other institutes for cancer investigation, so that the correct disease can be detected.

(Cancer cases are increasing)
Question: Why are non-smokers also falling prey to lung cancer?
Answer: The major reason for lung cancer is the consumption of tobacco, although now many such patients come forward who do not take tobacco. The reason for cancer in these people is passive and second hand smoking, that is, when someone is smoking, if you are sitting with that person then smoke enters your lungs and causes disease.
Apart from this, it has been told in some research that air pollution is a major cause of lung cancer. Lung cancer is also called genetic factor, but genetic factor is not described in it. Although breast cancer, colon cancer have genetic causes and these cancers can pass from one generation to another.
Question: can cancer be completely cured
Answer: Survival from cancer depends on the stage at which it is detected and the treatment received. If better treatment is available, then the chances of survival of the patient increase. But the cure rate depends on the stage at which the cancer is detected. If the disease is detected in the early stage, the patient can recover easily.
Nowadays, there are many such medicines which are increasing cancer survival in advanced stage and the cure rate is also good. These drugs work by stimulating the immune system to kill cancer cells. Medicines have brought better results in cancer treatment. If the disease is identified and treated at the right time, then the patient can be cured.

(Timely recognition of cancer symptoms is necessary)
Question: What should be kept in mind to prevent cancer
Answer: The message for the people is to try to reduce the consumption of tobacco. This is because 30 out of 100 cancer patients are tobacco users. In such a situation, if it is controlled, then the cases of cancer can be reduced by one-third.
The second thing is early diagnosis i.e. early detection of the disease. For this, it is necessary to get the test done at the right time when the symptoms of cancer appear.
Women should get mammogram test done at the age of 40 to 45. Also check your breast yourself. If there is any lump, then get treatment from the doctor. After marriage, women should get their gynecologist examined.
People who consume tobacco should get their mouth checked regularly. If there is a lump in your body which is growing slowly, then it is necessary to get it examined.
If there is indigestion in the body and digestion is not going well, then also get the test done. This can be a symptom of colon cancer. If people get the test done at the right time when symptoms appear, then cancer will be identified in the beginning itself. Due to which the treatment of the patient can be done easily.
