On Monday itself, the country’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also been found to be Corona positive. Singh himself gave this information by tweeting. The Defense Minister said that he is in quarantine at his home and does not have any major symptoms of corona.

The Defense Minister tweeted and said, ‘I have been found corona positive today with mild symptoms. Currently I am in home quarantine. I request all those who have come in contact with me recently. They should isolate themselves and get corona test done.
Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the country. In the last 24 hours, 1,79,723 cases have been reported. The maximum number of cases 44,388 cases have been reported in Maharashtra. During this time 146 people have died due to corona. At the same time, the situation in Delhi is also bad. On Sunday, 22,751 new cases of infection have been reported within Delhi. Active cases have increased to 60,733 in the state.
With the rise in the number of corona cases in the country, several states imposed new restrictions to check the growth of COVID-19 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation in a high-level meeting on Sunday, as with 1,79,723 new infections. Growth continues in India. Most states and union territories, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi, have already announced night curfew and other COVID-19 restrictions in view of the third wave.

In this context, through a letter, the central government has told the state governments that in the second wave, 20-23% of the active cases required hospitalization, compared to only 5-10% of the active cases at present.
