In an interview to news agency ANI, he said that in the last 6-7 months, I traveled to many countries. I was in America, Germany, UK, Netherlands and Hungary. During this, my wife and I became positive from COVID 19. I realized that their infrastructure and awareness about COVID is very weak.

He told that RTPCR test is very expensive. In the US, it takes 2 to 7 days for this. Seeing all this, it came to my mind that what is it that we (India) have successfully achieved things? So I started reading and knowing about it. I am still doing research on this. He believes that the story of those people who have achieved such a huge success should come on screen.
Achievement of 200 crore vaccines achieved in 18 months
Vivek Agnihotri praised the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and its scientists. India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 200 crores. Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated the country for achieving this historic achievement in just 18 months. He said that this extraordinary achievement will be recorded in history. The COVID-19 vaccination program was started on 16 January 2021.
