Mumbai: The TV show Baalveer has been very popular among the kids. Initially the show was getting a good response from the audience but suddenly its TRP dropped so much that the makers decided to take it off air. According to the news, the last episode of ‘Baalveer’ will be shown in October and along with it he will also launch a new superhero show. The show which started in March will close in six months.
According to actor Dev Joshi, who played the lead role in all the seasons of Baalveer, ‘Baalveer was given a one-week slot in the third season, whereas during the last two seasons, the audience was used to watching the show on weekdays. This is the reason why the audience could not connect with the story. To be fair, the timing of the show was not correct.
Dev told that, ‘Baalveer is such a show that people especially children have enjoyed a lot, it is being watched everyday. So I agree that the show didn’t score much on the ratings charts in the third season. The show will go off air in October. But we have shot for a few more episodes, so there is a lot of potential for it to come back.
The actor said, ‘I enjoy doing this show. It has lot of thrill, social message and entertainment for the viewers. I don’t know if I would like to do a daily soap or not. At the moment I am very happy doing this show.
The show entertains kids as well as adults with the story of superhero Baalveer, its interesting characters and great story line and superhit action.
