Mumbai : The country’s President Draupadi Murmu hosted an ‘at home’ reception on Tuesday evening at Rashtrapati Bhavan on the occasion of 77th Independence Day. In which many celebs also participated along with many big leaders. In which the names of Bollywood veteran actors Anil Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi are also included. Sharing a post on his Instagram account, Anil Kapoor wrote a long note, describing it as an incredible opportunity to attend President Draupadi Murmu’s ‘At Home’ reception.
Sharing their pictures on his Instagram, Anil Kapoor wrote, “Today at Rashtrapati Bhavan I had the incredible opportunity to meet the women and men who actually run our country. At the helm of our leadership is a woman so polite, warm and welcoming that you feel like you’ve known her forever. Guiding him are some of the smartest men and women who serve as ministers and support him behind the scenes and a most selfless group of people who protect him and serve their country in return. “

He further wrote, “It was both humbling and gratifying to know that our country is in such strong and capable hands and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to watch them in action. There can be no better way to celebrate our Independence Day! I salute you, Mother!”
Talking about Anil Kapoor’s workfront, Anil Kapoor will soon be seen in the upcoming film ‘Fighter’ directed by Siddharth Anand alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Apart from this, he will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial action film ‘Animal’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

Jaishankar, Ajit Doval, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Union Minister of State Ashwini Kumar Many dignitaries like Choubey, Ajay Bhatt, former President Ram Nath Kovind, former Vice President Hamid Ansari attended. During this, President Draupadi Murmu also met foreign representatives posted in embassies.
