Tigmanshu described ‘The Great Indian Murder’ as a great suspense thriller and also said that he is hopeful that people will appreciate it.
Talking about his character, Prateek Gandhi said that doing this character as a law watcher has been a new challenge for him and he has tried his best to live up to the criteria of Tigmanshu, the director of the series. Richa Chadha also praised the creators of the series for the making and casting of the series and said that only such stories will change the portrayal of women in the Indian scenario.
For information, let us tell you that ‘The Great Indian Murder’ is based on the book ‘Six Suspects’ by famous writer Vikas Swarup. Vikas Swarup said on this occasion that his first mail to Preeti came five years ago to buy the rights of this book but then he did not have the rights of the book. These rights have now gone to an Indian filmmaker via UK and China and this is where they should have been from day one.
