Mumbai : The teaser of former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralidaran’s biopic ‘800’ has been released today, 04 September. Actor Madhur Mittal, who played his role in the Oscar-winning film ‘Slum Dog Millionaire’, will play Muttiah Muralitharan in the biopic.
The teaser of ‘800’ has been shared by movie critic Taran Adarsh on his Instagram account. Also shared the details of the film. A glimpse of the biopic can be seen in the teaser of ‘800’. Along with the teaser release of the biopic, its trailer release date has also been revealed.

Veteran cricket star Sachin Tendulkar will launch the trailer of Muttiah Muralitharan’s biopic ‘800’ at a function in Mumbai tomorrow i.e. on 5th September. It is known that Muttiah Muralitharan retired from his Test career in the year 2010 with his 800th wicket. The makers had released the first look of this biopic in April this year.
The biopic, written and directed by MS Sripathi, is produced by Vivek Rangachari under the banner of Movie Train Motion Pictures. The biopic ‘800’ will be released ,, Tamil and Telugu languages. However, the release date of this biopic has not been revealed yet.
