Mumbai : Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is once again seen on the big screen in ‘Jawan’ after the film ‘Pathan’. The film ‘Jawaan’ has been released in theaters on 7th September on the occasion of Janmashtami. The film has received positive response from audience to film critics. Shahrukh Khan’s fans have gathered outside the theaters to watch the film.
On the day of the film’s release, the actor’s fans welcomed the film with drums and even in theaters, fans were seen hooting and dancing while watching the film. The thing on which everyone’s eyes were fixed was the first day box office collection of the film which has now been revealed. According to the released data, ‘Jawaan’ has earned Rs 65 crore from Hindi belt, Rs 5 crore from Tamil and Rs 5 crore from Telugu belt, while Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ has earned Rs 57 crore.
The film ‘Jawaan’ directed by Atlee has been produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Shahrukh Khan is in a double role in this film with a budget of Rs 350 crore. Nayanthara is playing the role of a cop in the film while Deepika Padukone has played a cameo role.
