But, now the producer of this film Ajit Andhare has told both these things as false.
The film ‘OMG 2’, directed by Amit Rai, was released in theaters on 11 August 2023. People are liking this film a lot. The film has earned Rs 79.47 crore in India in six days of its release. Whereas worldwide it has earned a gross of Rs 108.80 crore. Let us tell you that on August 11, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s Feel Gadar 2 has also been released.

Meanwhile, the producer of the film Ajit Andhare reacted to the news going on on social media. Ajit Andhare told during a conversation with the media that, Akshay Kumar has not taken even a single rupee for this film. Rather, Akshay stood by the makers of the film in whatever risk was involved in making this film.
Ajit Andhare said, ‘We and Akshay have a long association together and mutual understanding. They understand each other from the time of ‘OMG’, ‘Special 26’ and ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. I have always stood by Akshay for scripts that are out-of-the-box, yet big and meaningful. It would have been impossible to take this risk without Akshay. He was financially and creatively actively involved in this film (OMG 2).
Further, Ajit Andhare also talked about the budget of the film. He said, the news of the budget of ‘OMG 2’ has been presented in a big way. The budget of the film is not Rs 150 crore. A source told that ‘OMG 2’ is made in a budget of less than 50 crores. The first part of the film i.e. ‘Oh My God’ was made for Rs 25 crore.
