Mumbai: The film ‘800’, based on the life of Sri Lanka’s legendary spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan, will be aired on the OTT platform ‘JioCinema’ from December 2. This Tamil film starring Madhur Mittal was released in theaters on October 6.
‘Over the Top’ (OTT) platform GeoCinema wrote on social media platform ‘X’, “The story of Muttiah Muralitharan who revolutionized the world of cricket. Watch it for free on Jio Cinema from December 2.” Written and directed by MS Sripathi, the film is produced under the banner of ‘Movie Train Motion Pictures’.

Famous Madhur Mittal is going to be seen in the lead role in the biopic of famous Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. Before the release of his biopic, cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan had said, “My legacy is in cricket, not in the fate of any film. Some may like it, some may not.”
Muralitharan holds the record of taking 800 wickets in Test cricket. For this reason his biopic has been named ‘800’.
