Mumbai: Actor Mohit Raina, known for his performances in films like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Shiddat’, ‘Bhaukaal’, ‘Mumbai Diaries 26/11’ and ‘Kaafir’, will soon be seen in Hotstar Specials ‘The Freelancer’ with Avinash Will be seen in the role of Kamath. Mohit was recently injured during the shooting of the film, but despite the injury, he continued with the shooting of his upcoming film.
Talking about this, Mohit Raina said, ‘I had injured my knee amidst the busy schedule of the film ‘The Freelancer’, which was undoubtedly challenging. As actors, we often struggle with such situations, but if the entire team is together then anything is possible and I respect them. It is only because of the strong support from the entire team that we were able to complete the shoot successfully.
Please tell that in this series, Mohit Raina is seen doing a rescue operation for a girl trapped in Syria. The trailer of this film full of tremendous action scenes has been released. Anupam Kher plays the role of an analyst in the series.
The series is based on the book ‘A Ticket to Syria’ by Shirish Thorat, directed by Bhav Dhulia and produced by Neeraj Pandey. The series stars Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji and Navneet Malik, Manjari Phadnis, Sarah Jane Dias among others. ‘The Freelancer’ will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 1.
