Mumbai : Today is the 57th birthday of Bollywood singer and playback singer Mohit Chauhan. Singer was born on 11 March 1966 to B K Rana and Krishna Rana in Nahan town of Sirmaur district, Himachal Pradesh. Mohit Chauhan is known for Hindi songs. Singer has been a part of the Silk Route band. He has received two Filmfare Awards and three Zee Cine Awards for Best Male Playback Singer.
He has recorded many songs in many different languages for films and albums. He is one of the best indipop singers. You will be surprised to know that Mohit Chauhan has not taken any kind of training for music. He used to practice singing with his elder brother. He has been influenced by his grandfather. He was a classical singer and played the harmonium.
