Mumbai : South Superstar Rajinikanth’s starrer most awaited film ‘Jailer’ has been released in theaters on August 10. There is tremendous craze among the fans regarding the film. The film is being well received by the audiences in theatres. Not only this, on the day of the film’s release, Rajinikanth’s fans were seen celebrating the film’s release outside many theatres. The film ‘Jailor’ has become the third biggest opener of this year while in Tamil Nadu the film has made its way to the first position. The film has also broken many records in terms of advance booking.
According to Sacnilk Early Trends, ‘Jailor’ has opened at Rs 44.50 crore at the box office in all languages in India while the film has grossed Rs 52 crore. The film ‘Jailor’ has become the biggest opener of all the films released in 2023 in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. At the same time, Kollywood’s biggest opening has been made in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while Kollywood’s film has become the highest gross opening film on the first day.

If reports are to be believed, the film has done box office business of Rs 23 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 11 crore in Karnataka, Rs 5 crore in Kerala, Rs 10 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and Rs 3 crore from rest of the country.
Let us tell you that Rajinikanth has made a comeback on the silver screen after 2 years with the film ‘Jailor’ directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Mohanlal, Ramya Krishnan, Jackie Shroff, Yogi Babu and Shiva Rajkumar in pivotal roles. On the other hand, on August 11, Sunny Deol’s film ‘Gadar 2’ and Akshay Kumar’s film ‘OMG 2’ are being released in theaters in front of the jailer.
