There is also news that, if the weather is normal at the time of ‘launching’, ISRO’s LVM3 will install OneWeb’s 36 satellites in the lower orbit of the Earth next Sunday. This is the second time that OneWeb is using the satellite launching service of the Indian Space Agency ISRO. Be aware that on October 23 last year, the first 36 satellites of OneWeb were launched from Sriharikota.
In this regard, on Monday, ISRO tweeted that, “LVM3-M3 / OneWeb India-2 mission is about to be launched. Its launch is scheduled for Sunday, March 26, from SDSC-SHAR, the second launching pad at Sriharikota. Let us tell you that 36 satellites of OneWeb reached India from Florida only on 16th February. On the other hand, 36 satellites will be launched in the 18th launch of OneWeb in the launching from Sriharikota on Sunday.
It is noteworthy that earlier on March 9 of this month, SpaceX’s Falcon-9 rocket had put 40 OneWeb satellites into space. At the same time, ISRO had successfully launched the first 36 satellites of OneWeb from Sriharikota Space Center in October last year. In such a situation, there is a similar hope from this ‘launching’ to be held on Sunday.
