Members of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) union have been on strike for the last 100 days. This matter has been discussed many times but its solution has not been found yet. Now many top Hollywood actors including Oscar winning actor and filmmaker George Clooney have come forward to end the strike and have proposed to give 150 million dollars i.e. about Rs 1246 crore 13 lakh 55 thousand to the SAG-AFTRA union.
According to Reuters report, this offer from top actors was also confirmed by George Clooney’s spokesperson on Thursday. Along with this, he told that an additional 150 million dollars will be given to the union, which they will get in three years. Apart from this, it has also been said to further improve the health related benefits.

Speaking to Hollywood publication Deadline, Clooney said, “The highest earners in Hollywood want to be involved in solving this problem. He said that we feel that the union should give us more money. He said that this would be right. However, there has been no response from the union yet on this offer from top Hollywood actors.
Let us tell you that the members of SAG-AFTRA union have been on strike since July this year regarding their demands. Ongoing negotiations between the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers and the SAG-AFTRA union broke down last week. After this, efforts to find a solution to this matter suffered a major setback.
It will be 100 days on Saturday
Thousands of crew members and actors associated with film and television production are involved in this strike. Tomorrow i.e. on Saturday this strike will complete 100 days. It is noteworthy that the 148-day strike of Hollywood film and television writers has ended this month. He agreed to a new three-year contract, after which the strike ended.
