Kedarnath Yatra: There is good news for the devotees traveling to Kedarnath. Now soon you will be able to travel to Kedarnath via helicopter. IRCTC is going to start its booking process soon.
If media reports are to be believed, the helicopter service for Kedarnath Yatra is going to start from April 25. That is, helicopter service will start for the devotees from this day itself. Passengers will be able to book it from the official website of IRCTC.
According to reports, the trial run of the helicopter service will be completed by Friday, March 31. After which the booking for the helicopter will start the next day from April 1.
Last month in February itself, the DGCA had issued a circular to start helicopter service for the pilgrims coming to visit Kedarnath. Along with this, while issuing the circular, guidelines have also been given to the district administration by the DGCA.
IRCTC has signed an MOU with Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority for a span of 5 years to start helicopter service for passengers.
