Mumbai: A case of fraud worth lakhs has come to light by making credit cards in the name of Bollywood and sports celebrities. Cyber ​​Cell has busted a gang who used to cheat banks of lakhs by making fake credit cards in the name of film stars. In this Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai, Shilpa Shetty And Sonam Kapoor Including the names of a total of 98 celebrities. This gang has so far committed fraud of more than 90 lakhs.

Played by making fake PAN-Aadhaar card

In the name of these celebrities, first government identity cards like Aadhaar card, PAN card and other documents were made in a fake way, after that this whole game was executed. These people used to take loans from different banks in the name of celebrities and used to cheat by making credit cards.

Gang cheated 21.31 lakhs

According to the police, on February 23, Shekhawat, a representative of Pune’s M/s FPL Technologies Pvt Ltd, had lodged a complaint with the cyber cell in this regard. In which it was said that a company makes virtual cards and credit cards. Celebrity’s company has been cheated of Rs 21.31 lakh by making credit cards using fake PAN cards and Aadhaar cards.

Fraud of more than 90 lakhs in 2 years

Police has arrested 5 accused in this fraud case. One of the arrested accused has done B.Tech. Five checkbooks including 25 fake Aadhaar cards, 40 credit cards, ten mobiles, one laptop, 42 SIM cards, 34 fake PAN cards have been recovered from them. These people have cheated about 90 lakhs in the last 2 years.
