Farah Khan to direct ‘Superstar’ Rajesh Khanna biopic, producer Nikhil Dwivedi made a big disclosure: Actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi made fans happy by making a big announcement on Tuesday morning. The biopic film of the actor has been announced on the 79th birth anniversary of Nikhil Rajesh Khanna. Nikhil Dwivedi has bought the rights to Chintamani’s bestselling book, Dark Star: The Loneliness of Being Rajesh Khanna. After this, the preparations related to the film have also started. The Rajesh Khanna biopic will be directed by Farah Khan.
Talking about the ambitious project, Nikhil said, “Yes it is true that I have acquired the rights of Gautam Chintamani’s book Dark Star. I am all set to make a film on it. We are in talks with Farah Khan about this film. That’s all I can say for now. If there is some big update about this film, I will be happy to share it as I am very excited to bring Rajesh Khanna’s story on the big screen.
While talking on this subject, Farah Khan further said that ‘Yes I have read Gautam’s book and it is very attractive. There is no denying that this is an exciting story. We are discussing it but I cannot comment further.
