While accepting the award, she said, “I would like to say to all the women, don’t let anyone tell you that your time is up.” Talking about India, Indians also made a splash this time at the Oscars. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the Indian film ‘RRR’ created history by winning an Oscar in the Best Original Song category at the 95th Academy Awards. Tamil language documentary ‘The Elephant Whispers’ won the first Oscar for India in the ‘Documentary Short Subject’ category.

However, Indian documentary ‘All That Breathes’ on climate change missed out on winning the award in the Best Documentary Feature category. Daniel Rohr’s ‘Navalni’ beat him. The Oscar ceremony is being organized at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Monday morning (Indian time). (agency)
