Kangana Ranaut is seen promoting her soon to be released film ‘Razakar: The Silent Genocide of Hyderabad’. During the promotion of this film, Kangana praised South Indian films a lot. When she was asked whether she considered herself ‘Southern Siren’ i.e. the voice of the South? Then Kangana said, “Of course, not only my look but I myself am very much influenced by the South. This is the reason why I am currently working a lot in the South film industry. Even though I wear a Banarasi saree, I have become a South Indian at heart.”
Talking about the film Razakar, Kangana said, “We have always read in our books that there was Gandhi and there was Nehru. Apart from them there was no one else. Today, when we see big statues being built of personalities like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, we start wondering what he had done. Let me tell you that this publicity, media and marketing has been going on since ancient times. Even in the times of kings, they had Navratans who used to do their publicity. Whatever we know about history is a product of marketing. So those who knew how to do publicity used to go to London and give interviews. He used to do a lot of publicity for himself. Even if he took a hundred people with him, the whole world would talk about him. He used to say that there has been fasting here and a march has taken place there.”

Ahead Kangana Said, “If we talk about Vallabhbhai Patel, he is called Shiva. The way Lord Shiva held the body parts of Mother Sati. In the same way, the one who held our breaking India together after independence was Vallabhbhai Patel. Hyderabad got independence 396 days after India got independence. Because the Nizams there did not want to go with India. But the public wanted to go. So when today you hear that Tukde gang is active and it claims that we were never a United Nations. Show them this history. The film ‘Razakar’ tells the story of the integrity of that India.
