Significantly, regarding the money laundering case of Rs 200 crore, Sukesh Chandrasekhar filed a petition demanding transfer of the case to another judge. In fact, Sukesh Chandrasekhar had accused the judge of being biased in his petition. At the same time, the Patiala House Court has refused to hear the petition of Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
Along with this, today the Patiala House Court expressed its strong displeasure over the filing of the petition by Sukesh. The court also made it clear today that the accused has no right to comment on the presiding officer. Along with this, the Patiala House Court has extended the judicial custody of Sukesh Chandrashekhar till March 31.
It should be informed that earlier on Tuesday also Sukesh was produced in the Patiala House Court. In fact, Sukesh faces serious allegations of money laundering and cheating the wife of Shivinder Singh, former promoter of Fortis Healthcare, to the tune of Rs 200 crore. There are also big allegations of cheating on the wife of Malvinder Singh, former promoter of Religare Company.
