Mumbai : Today is the birth anniversary of veteran film and TV actor Anupam Shyam Ojha. He was born on this day on September 20, 1957 in Belha of Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Even though Anupam Shyam Ojha is not among us today, he is still known for his characters.
Anupam Shyam Ojha had played his roles in many films like ‘Lajja’, ‘Munna Michael’, ‘Wanted’ and ‘Nayak’ etc., but his real identity was the role of ‘Sajjan Singh’ in the Star Plus show ‘Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya’. Got it by playing a strong character. Fans liked his Allahabadi style very much in this show. Apart from this, Anupam Shyam Ojha had worked in many TV serials like ‘Krishna Chali London’, ‘Doli Armanon Ki’ and ‘Humne Li Shapath’.

Anupam Shyam Ojha breathed his last on August 8, 2021 at the age of 63. He was suffering from kidney disease for a long time. The actor’s brother had told in an interview that due to financial constraints, Anupam was not being treated properly. After which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given a assistance amount of Rs 20 lakh from the relief fund to Anupam Shyam Ojha. However, he still could not survive and died on the night of Sunday, August 8 in a hospital in Mumbai.
