Sushmita Sen is one of the famous and favorite actresses of Bollywood. Sushmita celebrated her 48th birthday yesterday on 19th November. Recently, Sushmita spoke openly about her relationship with her father in an interview. He told that his relationship with his father is full of ups and downs.
Actually, Sushmita Sen recalled during the interview that she had never thought of becoming an actress. She only wanted to participate in the Miss India contest. Sushmita Sen had created history in the Miss Universe contest in the year 1994. After which she became popular as a global icon.
Talk about deteriorating relationship with father
Sushmita Sen’s father Shubir Sen was an officer in the Indian Army. Her father wanted Sushmita to become an IAS officer because no one in her family was remotely related to the film industry. The actress told that on the advice of her father, she started preparing to become an IAS. But, when she expressed her desire to become Miss India to her father, that day was no less than an explosion for her father. The actress told that she did not talk to him after that.
Not only this, Sushmita also told that she still remembers the moment when she became emotional while talking to her father. When she told her father that she wanted to wear a swimsuit. This is part of the show. She was very emotional at that time. But his father did not change his viewpoint at all. She even told her father that she would wear it in a respectable manner.
Sushmita Sen never went to college
In her interview, Sushmita Sen further said that she never went to college. The actress told that her father always used to say that whatever you do, complete your studies, at least complete your degree. This was my problem, so I got my daughter Renee also a degree. So that no one ever says that if you don’t do this then what will you do?
Father gets emotional after winning Miss India title
In the year 1994, the Miss Universe pageant was held in Manila, Philippines. Sushmita’s mother and brother had accompanied her to this competition. The actress told that her father was in India at that time so he could not go but she had seen the show on television. Being an army person, he was feeling proud that I was going to bring glory to the country. Then later gradually he understood my things.
