Actually, Sushmita Sen recalled during the interview that she had never thought of becoming an actress. She only wanted to participate in the Miss India contest. Sushmita Sen had created history in the Miss Universe contest in the year 1994. After which she became popular as a global icon.
Talk about deteriorating relationship with father
Sushmita Sen’s father Shubir Sen was an officer in the Indian Army. Her father wanted Sushmita to become an IAS officer because no one in her family was remotely related to the film industry. The actress told that on the advice of her father, she started preparing to become an IAS. But, when she expressed her desire to become Miss India to her father, that day was no less than an explosion for her father. The actress told that she did not talk to him after that.
Not only this, Sushmita also told that she still remembers the moment when she became emotional while talking to her father. When she told her father that she wanted to wear a swimsuit. Sushmita Sen never went to college
In her interview, Sushmita Sen further said that she never went to college. Father gets emotional after winning Miss India title
