Dia Mirza made her debut in the beginning of the year 2000. At this time she was 20 years old. But the actress had started her career even before this. The actress started her career as a model when she was 16 years old. This was the time when he stopped asking for money from home. She had become self-reliant. He liked this feeling and got the strength to move forward.

The actress said that when she started earning at the age of 16, her family members also appreciated her decision.
