Mumbai : Actress Taapsee Pannu says the trend of boycotting Hindi films is nothing but a ‘joke’. The actress feels that appealing for boycott of Hindi films on social media is tantamount to underestimating the intelligence of the audience. Taapsee Pannu says she has gone through a time when comments on social media used to annoy her, but now she doesn’t mind.
Taapsee Pannu’s film ‘Dobaara’ is releasing in theaters on Friday. ‘Dobaara’ is directed by Anurag Kashyap. “If the trend of boycotting films and criticizing actors continues on social media, then after a certain period of time people will not pay attention to it,” Taapsee Pannu said at a press conference here on Thursday. The actress said, “I can’t talk about others in the film industry, but for me and Anurag Kashyap, the trend of boycotting films has become a joke.”
