Akshay Kumar’s ‘Prithviraj’ caught in trouble before release, Gujar Samaj threatens to stop the screening of the film: Gujjars in Rajasthan have threatened to stop the screening of actor Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Prithviraj’ If the word ‘Rajput’ is not used for the film Prithviraj Chauhan, then the film will not be released in theaters. On this whole matter Rajput community leaders said that Gujjars were initially ‘Gauchar’, who later converted into Gurjar and then Gurjar. They originally come from Gujarat and hence got this name.
Shri Rajput Karni Sena national spokesperson Vijender Singh Shaktawat said that this is a word related to place and not a word related to caste. According to the information received, two days ago, members of the Gujjar community had protested in Ajmer, and threatened that the screening of the film would be stopped if Prithviraj Chauhan was not shown as a Gurjar king.

Talking about this, Gurjar leader Himmat Singh revealed that, ‘Prithviraj Movie is based on Prithviraj Raso written by Chand Bardai and it was shown in the teaser of Prithviraj movie. After studying the available inscriptions in history, researchers have assumed that Chand Bardai wrote it after the reign of Prithviraj Chauhan, about 400 years ago. In the 16th century, the Raso epic was written which is fictional. The epic is written by Chand Bardai in Pringle language which is a mixture of Bajra and Rajasthani language.’
